Corsica - 1 Week Sample Cruise, Calvi to Bonafacio

Day 0 - Embark Calvi
Calvi, a pretty port to start your cruise, if you have time upon arrival the walk to the top of the 13th century citadel is very worthwhile.
Day 1 - Girolata (Lunch Scandola)
Probably the most fantastic and most beautiful coast of Corsica comprising the marine reserve of Scandola. Then to Port Girolata for the evening, one of the most beautiful anchorages with excellent walks ashore.
Day 2 - Cargese (Lunch in Ficajola)
Lunch & swimming off the little beach of Arona then spend the night at Cargese, a village founded by a greek community originating in the Peleponnese
Day 3 - Anse de Cacalu (quiet) or Ajaccio (historic Town) (Lunch in Iles Sanguinaires)
Ajaccio was the home of Napoleon Bonaparte holds a wealth of history and beauty for those willing to explore ashore, if you crave peace and quiet then the alternative is the stunning, uncrowded bay of Cacalu perfect for snorkelling or just chilling out. Lunch under the amazing islands of Sanguinaires is a must.
Day 4 - Campomorro (lunch Pointe de Pesciu)
Campomorro is a very pretty small seaside town with a very sheltered anchorage, ideal for an overnight stay. Lunch could be anywhere under Pointe Pesciu, the bays are plenty, all with crystal clear water and stunning cliffs.
Day 5 - Anse Roccapina (lunch in Scolio Bianco)
Anse Roccapina offers a Caribbean quality beach with water to match, perfect for the night at anchor, lunch at Scolio Bianco, Anchor behind the strange and wonderful sculptured rock formations. Great for snorkelling.
Day 6 - Bonifacio (lunch in Lavezzi)
Lavezzi Islands are a must for any cruise round Corsica and ideal for a Scuba Dive if you fancy it. Bonifacio needs no introduction and offer the most spectacular destination to finish the cruise.
Day 7 - Depart Bonifacio
Take time to climb up to have a look around the old town perched on the cliff before you go and use the opportunity to get some amazing photos of the harbour and the Bonifacio straights.
